Copyright

Authors retain copyright in their work without restriction. Authors are not required to transfer copyright to the journal or the publisher at any stage.

Licensing

Articles published in the Journal of Evidence-Based Medical Research are licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Licence (CC BY 4.0). This permits any user to copy, distribute, remix, transform and build upon the material for any purpose, including commercially, provided the original work is properly cited.

By submitting, authors grant JEBMR a non-exclusive licence to publish, reproduce and distribute the article and to sub-license it under the terms above.

Third-Party Material

Where third-party material (figures, tables, extended quotations) is included, authors are responsible for obtaining written permission from the rights holder and for supplying evidence of that permission on request. The source and permission status of such material must be stated in the caption.

Self-Archiving

Authors may deposit any version of their article — submitted, accepted or published version of record — in any repository, personal website, institutional website, preprint server or scholarly collaboration network, at any time, with no embargo period.

Deposit of the published version of record (publisher PDF) is permitted and encouraged. Deposits should include the article's DOI and full citation.

Preprints

Posting a preprint prior to submission does not prejudice consideration. Authors should disclose the preprint DOI at submission. On publication, authors are asked to update the preprint record with a link to the version of record.
